One heart. Hundreds of heart-healthy options.

How the Heart-Check Food Certification Program Works
It’s easy. Just look for the American Heart Association Heart-Check mark on the food or beverage package when shopping. But not all heart-healthy claims you see are from the American Heart Association; look for the AHA name to be sure.

How a Food Becomes Heart-Check Certified
When you see the Heart-Check mark on foods and beverages, you know it has been put through a robust certification process. The Heart-Check program complies with 10 different health claims in 13 different food categories.
