Good Food Fellows
Food EDU is building the capacity of emerging scientists and food system leaders around the world, forging uncommon connections through convening, training, and fellowships promoting community engaged research.

Fostering Communities of Practice
The inaugural cohort of 37 fellows is composed of graduate students and early career researchers generating and applying data on food quality to improve human and planetary health. Research projects include using foodomics to understand health attributes of traditional Mexican foods and underutilized and Indigenous crops in Ethiopia.
Centers of Excellence
The Periodic Table of Food Initiative’s Centers of Excellence serve as training hubs for the program. These are the six Centers supporting the inaugural cohort of Good Food Fellows:
- Javeriana University (Colombia)
- Ethiopia Public Health Institute (Ethiopia)
- The University of the South Pacific (Fiji)
- Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana)
