Join us on World Hypertension Day — May 17, 7-8 p.m. CST for a virtual event introducing the American Heart Association’s National Hypertension Control Initiative to combat high blood pressure through a community effort.

You’ll hear from a panel of community members that includes a pastor, national barbershop owner, health care professional and patient who will discuss how working together can help control blood pressure and improve community health.

Nearly half of U.S. adults have high blood pressure, which affects under-resourced communities at higher rates.
