Before joining American Heart Association Ventures, Wilder was the CEO of EvoEndo, a pediatric gastroenterology company, where she took their single-use transnasal endoscope from an early-stage prototype through FDA-clearance and commercial launch. Under her leadership, the company raised equity funding, received new reimbursement codes and favorable payment for transnasal endoscopy and successfully brought its product to market, driving significant market share.

Wilder also served as an associate professor at the University of Colorado Denver where she co-founded “Inworks” — an interdisciplinary institute for human-centered design, innovation and prototyping. She has also served as a biodesign consultant with SparkMed Advisors and as the owner and founder of Mountain Medtech Consulting.

Her consulting work has largely focused on developing and validating medical and health tech products, performing regulatory and reimbursement pathway analyses, IP landscapes, market sizing and segmentation analyses and developing commercial strategies for medical device and health technology companies. This included pitch deck development, fundraising strategy, investor introductions and ongoing support.

Wilder holds a doctorate from the University of Colorado Boulder and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Washington. She is an alumna of Stanford Biodesign, MedTech Innovator and the Ferolyn Fellowship through the Fogarty Institute of Innovation.

Previously, Vyas spent two years embedded at Primary Venture Partners, where she incubated and funded technology-enabled health startups, and served as a product leader at Cleo, the maternal-health benefits platform.

Vyas holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is passionate about leveraging pioneering care models to improve care for all.

Cox brings nearly a decade of experience in medtech R&D and commercialization to Studio Red. She has consulted with many startups and large companies in diagnostics, remote patient monitoring, medical devices and regenerative medicine.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical and biological engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder with a certificate in public health and serves on the Industry Advisory Board for the University of Colorado Boulder Department of Biomedical Engineering.

She previously worked in business development at Earli, an early cancer detection and therapeutics company; 23andMe, a direct-to-consumer genetic company; Verily, Alphabet's life sciences subsidiary; and Veracyte, a clinical diagnostic company with products in eight of the 10 most prevalent cancers.

Yu also worked in technology transfer at the University of California, San Francisco, where she managed and oversaw the patenting and out-licensing of a broad range of intellectual property assets.

She holds a doctorate in biological sciences from Columbia University as well as a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry/chemistry and in sociology from the University of California, San Diego.

Most recently, she supported early-stage investments at Calm/Storm Ventures, where she worked closely with the investment team to evaluate market opportunities and identify emerging digital health companies. Previously, Cheng led strategy at KRIASH, a neonatal MedTech startup focused on improving care for newborns and families.

Cheng also worked in health care consulting at Eversana, advising life sciences clients on growth and market entry and contributed to health care market analysis and technology advancement efforts at Columbia Technology Ventures. She also founded two nonprofit initiatives supporting health care workers and underserved communities during the Covid-19 pandemic.

She holds a master’s degree from Columbia University, where she received the Public Health Award.

Lisa has held General Partner and leadership roles at Psilos Group, Manatt Ventures, and GE Ventures. She has also held senior executive roles at Canary Medical (President) and Manatt, Phelps & Phillips (Partner and Practice Leader, Head of Venture Fund).

Previously, Lisa was a key management team member at Merit Behavioral Care (fka American Biodyne). Lisa held key leadership roles, including Senior Vice President of Marketing & Sales and General Manager of multiple divisions. Lisa was an integral player in the company’s growth as it provided broad based care and care management for patients with behavioral health challenges and substance use disorders. The company grew from early-stage startup to one with over $800M in revenue, had a successful IPO and was ultimately acquired by Magellan Health. Lisa was also founding CEO of CSweetener, a company focused on matching mentors with rising female healthcare leaders (sold to HLTH Foundation).

Lisa chairs the International Investment Committee of the Australian ANDHealth Digital Health Fund, sits on the Investment Committee of Manatt Venture Fund, and is an advisor to Nina Capital. She is a founding member of the Duke Margolis Institute Capital Impact Council, and serves on the HLTH Community women’s advisory group. She is past chair of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Nasa-funded Translational Research Institute for Space Health and serves on the boards and advisory boards of several emerging companies. Lisa is a Fellow of the Aspen Institute’s Health Innovators Fellowship and is on faculty at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. She was recently featured in Forbes 2025 List of the 50 Over 50. Lisa writes the Venture Valkyrie blog and is an internationally recognized author and speaker.
