Imagine an Orange County where healthy choices are equitable and accessible, where your freeway exit does not determine your health. We are fighting heart diseases and stroke, the No. 1 and No. 5 killers of all Americans, by making the places we live, learn, work, play, pray and heal healthier.

CPR saves lives, Steve Munatones is here to prove it
On May 12, Steven Munatones suffered a cardiac arrest. His son Skyler found him lying unresponsive on the bathroom floor and immediately began performing life-saving CPR until paramedics arrived. He literally saved his father's life. Hands-Only CPR can be as effective as conventional CPR for cardiac arrest when it occurs in public, and CPR can double or triple a victim's chance of survival.
How We Are Educating the Women of Tomorrow with Stem
As cardiovascular disease continues to be the No. 1 killer of women, ensuring more women are at the forefront of developing science, technology, engineering and math solutions has never been more imperative.

Making an Impact in Orange County
Over 150 junior high school girls, from the Anaheim School District, participated in STEM Goes Red - a day-long event that inspired and empowered junior high school girls to explore careers in science, technology, engineering and math and be the future leaders in the fight against heart disease and stroke.
