What is Mack & Moxy?
Mack & Moxy is a new kids’ program that will air on PBS stations around the country. The show was created to inspire the next generation of humanitarians and features important causes like healthy eating, hunger awareness, autism inclusion, emergency preparedness, wildlife preservation, and STEM education. Mack & Moxy has teamed up with some of the country’s leading organizations, including the American Heart Association, to serve as advisors for each of these subjects. Children will learn lifelong lessons about a healthy life, charity and compassion as they explore and celebrate the joy of helping others.
AHA and Mack & Moxy
Brooklyn Nine-Nine (FOX network) actress Melissa Fumero guests stars in a specially produced American Heart Association episode as the “Admirable,” who helps spread the word about how fun it can be to get healthy. Be sure to check your local listings for AHA’s episode titled “A Bop-Topus’s Garden.”
In addition to AHA being featured on an episode of Mack & Moxy, QVC is also offering a special fundraising opportunity. The televised home shopping channel is donating 10% of all proceeds from sales of the Mack & Moxy Plush Blanket to the AHA.
