Passion projectStanding amid a sea of hearts she’s collected in the past year, Kimberly Goodloe of suburban Atlanta has been promoting heart disease awareness and honoring survivors since 2013. Goodloe learned she had a congenital aortic defect in 2003 and has undergone four surgical procedures. Now she’s committed to spreading awareness by working with schools, nonprofit groups and churches to decorate hearts that bring encouragement to hospitalized heart patients.
