Triad Mobile Kitchen
Beep beep! Let's fuel healthy cooking habits across the Triad.
The Triad Mobile Kitchen is traveling across the region to tackle nutrition insecurity, courtesy of Blue Cross NC. Over 10,000 families in under-served communities are learning healthy cooking skills and discovering local resources every year. We've been busy branching out to Forsyth County, and just added a physical “home” kitchen at the Historic Magnolia House in Greensboro. Join us for a FREE healthy cooking class, or let us come to you!
150,000 people live with food insecurity, and 47 food deserts exist right here in the Triad.
Meet your instructor, Chef N’Gai

Delivering Thousands of Family Meals in the Triad
Chef N’Gai pivoted the American Heart Association’s traditional Mobile Teaching Kitchen efforts to address mass food relief during the COVID-19 pandemic, and we are now partnering with local organizations to deliver meals to nearly 3,000 families each week. We have 47 food deserts in the Triad, with over 150,000 people living with food insecurity every day in our community. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our most vulnerable neighbors.
