Looking for a more meaningful way to thank your guests for sharing your joy? Make a donation in their honor to the American Heart Association’s Memorials & Tributes Program.
Memorial & Tributes Wedding Gifts & Favors Program
So much goes into planning a wedding. From the big details, like the dress and the venue, to the small touches, such as reception centerpieces and wedding favors, brides (and grooms!) want their guests to know that love and attention went into their special day. Many couples are searching for ways to personalize their important day with something more significant than the standard favors such as Jordan Almonds or scented candles. Giving a charitable donation is a much more gracious and thoughtful way to thank guests.

How does it work?
The American Heart Association will create cards or scrolls that can be placed at each table setting during the reception. The cards or scrolls can be personalized to honor the memory of a loved one along with the names of the bride and groom and wedding date. Couples may also ask guests to make a donation to the American Heart Association in lieu of a wedding gift.
How else can I give?
Attending a friend's wedding? What better gift could you give than the gift of giving? Make a donation in the couple's name to represent a lifetime of healthy hearts joined as one.
As the wedding couple, you can ask friends and family to donate in your name in lieu of standard gifts. Follow the link to create a tribute page where guests can sign in, deliver best wishes and make a donation. Create a Tribute Page
Heart disease kills more Americans than the next seven causes of cancer combined, so chances are that many couples have been personally touched by this disease. In lieu of traditional wedding favors, consider making a donation to the American Heart Association, whose mission is to reduce disability and death from cardiovascular diseases and stroke.
