Nebraska Fit-Friendly Worksites

We are pleased to announce our April 2015 Fit Friendly Awardees.  Nationally 1,896 worksites were recognized, representing more than 5.5 million employees.

In the Midwest Affiliate, 26 Nebraska worksites received recognition.  Of those, 23 were awarded Gold level and 3 were awarded Platinum level.
Fit Friendly Worksites are recognized by the American Heart Association for employers who go above and beyond when it comes to their employee’s health.

Deadlines to apply annually are November 1st, or April 1st. Contact your local AHA office for more information.
