Saving Strokes, a program of the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, is a free event designed to encourage stroke survivors and caregivers to get out and be active. 

Survivors meet others who are experiencing the same things they are or have gone through in their rehabilitation. Golf pros work with the survivors on their golf swing, whether they have ever played before or not. Specialized equipment is available for use, if it is needed. Additionally, attendees can enjoy a health and vendor faire and a heart healthy lunch.
