Help the American Heart Association get America walking by supporting the 2013 Erie Heart Walk  on Saturday, September 14 at Liberty Park in Erie.  Registration will begin at 9:00am and the walk will begin at 10:00am.

 

As the signature fundraising event for the American Heart Association, the Heart Walk promotes physical activity and heart-healthy living in a fun family environment.  The Heart Walk will create hope, inspire change and celebrate success for all participants who commit to fighting cardiovascular disease and stroke in their own lives.

 

This year more than 1 million walkers will participate in some 350 events nationwide, raising funds to save lives from this country’s No. 1 and No. 4 killers – heart disease and stroke. Erie hopes to have 1500+ walkers in attendance at this non-competitive one, three or five mile walk.
