The American Heart Association is working with partners to provide scholarships that allow students to explore the field of cardiovascular research as a career by providing opportunities to work with researchers at Minnesota institutions during June, July and August of 2009.
Who is eligible?
Minnesota students only. Applicants must be Minnesota residents and attend a Minnesota high school or college. Graduating high school seniors, college freshmen, college sophomores and college juniors with an interest in the health science area are eligible. Previous American Heart Association high school and college recipients are not eligible.
Northwest Airlines Pilots' Wives Club Awards
Two awards will be presented this year. Each successful candidate will receive $1,800 for a full-time summer internship to work in a laboratory of a heart researcher. Download the description and application form.

One award will be presented this year. The successful candidate will receive $1,270 for a full-time summer internship to work in a laboratory of a heart researcher. Download the description and application form.
