Accreditation
  • Updated:Jul 15,2011
The Society of Chest Pain Centers (SCPC) and the American Heart Association (AHA) have agreed to establish a collaborative framework for hospital accreditation that meets criteria as set forth in the AHA’s Mission: Lifeline (M:L) recognition program.

The SCPC will assist the AHA in implementing, developing and managing the Mission: Lifeline accreditation program. With this collaboration, SCPC will offer hospitals who meet the Mission: Lifeline recognition criteria, the opportunity to become either an accredited Mission: Lifeline STEMI Receiving Center or Referral Center. Hospitals may now choose to participate in Chest Pain Center accreditation, Mission: Lifeline accreditation or both. More information

The Mission: Lifeline Accreditation Program will acknowledge Non-PCI/STEMI Referral Centers and PCI/STEMI-Receiving Centers for their efforts to improve quality of care for STEMI patients. More information
