National Start! Walking Day - April 6
Across the nation people will be lacing up their tennis shoes and walking for 30 minutes on Wednesday, April 6 as part of the American Heart Association’s National Start! Walking Day.
The American Heart Association advocates walking because it has the lowest dropout rate of any physical activity. Workplaces have proven to be important environments to foster a culture for exercise as Americans now work 164 more hours per year than 20 years ago, and jobs have become increasingly sedentary.
We can help you celebrate Nation Start! Walking Day by providing you with a FREE Kick Start! Kit - tips and materials to make the day a success!
Pledge to live a heart-healthy life and walk with your friends and co-workers on April 6 – you’ll be glad you did.
