Calling All Heart Heroes
YOU can be a Heart Hero and help kids with special hearts by participating in Jump Rope For Heart! Jump Rope For Heart is a fun event where you can jump rope, learn about your heart and how to keep it healthy, while raising money for the American Heart Association.
We’ve made it really fun and easy for you to raise donations using our cool online tool! You can set-up your own Jump Rope For Heart Web page with a photo or video, and email it to friends and family to ask for their support. Donations can be made directly to your personal Web page and you can watch your progress! Be sure to ask your parents for their help.
Join your school team online and you’ll be on your way to making a Web page and saving lives!
Did you know that students just like you designed this year’s Jump Rope For Heart and Hoops For Heart t-shirts? We’re having a contest and the winning designs will be on the Jump Rope For Heart and Hoops For Heart t-shirts for next year. Could your design be featured nationally? All you have to do is draw or color a picture about Jump Rope For Heart or Hoops For Heart and ask your parents to help you submit your design on this website.
Submit your design by January 21, 2011. Every drawing submitted will be seen by kids all over the nation. Everyone’s votes will determine the Top Ten most popular designs and then voting will begin again to determine the winner from those finalists. The winning designs will be posted on this website in February 2011. Good luck!
