YOUR child can be a Heart Hero and help children with special hearts by participating in Hoops For Heart at their school! Hoops For Heart is a fun experience where kids play basketball, learning about their hearts and how to keep them healthy, all while raising life-saving donations for the American Heart Association.
Help Your Child Make a Difference
We’ve made it really fun and easy for your child and family to raise donations using our cool online tool! You can help your child set-up his/her own Hoops For Heart Web page with a photo or video, and email it to friends and family to ask for their support. Donations can be made directly to your child’s Web page. This is a great family activity to do together. See how to help your child join his/her school team online and your family will be on your way to making a Web page and saving lives! Design next year’s Jump Rope For Heart T-Shirt Contest!
Did you know that this year’s Jump Rope For Heart and Hoops For Heart t-shirts were designed by students? We’re having a contest and the winning designs will be on the Jump Rope For Heart and Hoops For Heart t-shirts for next year. Could your child’s design be featured nationally? All he or she has to do is draw or color a picture about Jump Rope For Heart or Hoops For Heart and submit his/her design on this website.
Help your child submit their design by January 21, 2011. Every drawing submitted will be added to a gallery that can be seen by other kids all over the nation. Voting will determine the Top Ten most popular designs and then voting will begin again to determine the winner from those finalists. The winning designs will be posted on this website in February 2011. Find out more about how to get involved with this year’s contest.
