Wear Red Day
National Wear Red Day is the first Friday in February every year. On Wear Red Day people all across the country wear red in support of the Go Red For Women movement. In addition to many great events throughout the year, the city literally turns red every February to raise awareness about women and heart disease.

Red Dress Preview Party
Since 2008, the Go Red For Women movement has partnered with Philadelphia University fashion design department to have students design Red Dresses inspired by a connection to heart health. This year, 21 students competed to have the best designed red dresses of the year at a fashion show featuring Wilhelmina models held at the College of Physicians in Philadelphia. Andie from WXTU and Bill Henley from NBC 10 news were our co-hosts. The winning dresses are displayed in the window of Macy's in Center City.

The Go Red for Women Luncheon
The 12th annual Go Red For Women Luncheon was a celebration of  the work and progress made by our volunteers, donors, and supporters.  We would like to thank our sponsors and supporters of this year’s record-breaking Luncheon. Thanks to your support, we are now in the top three most successful Luncheons in the country! This year we attracted more than 850 attendees and honored the 2015 Woman of the Heart, Dr. Danielle Duffy, from the Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals. Our thanks go out to Lori Reiner, EisnerAmper LLP, for serving as our campaign chair, and Dr. Jeanine Romanelli from the Lankenau Heart Institute at Main Line Health for being our Go Red Champion this year.
