With over 1,000 employees in the Central Florida area, Dan Artone has faced the challenges of uniting employees from multiple locations head on. As Airport Market Vice President for Enterprise Holdings in Orlando, Fla., one of Dan’s duties is to bring his employees together under the common goal of becoming fit friendly. Dan understands that the benefits of a Fit-Friendly Workplace include healthier employees, a more productive workforce, less absenteeism and reduced healthcare costs for his company.
Dan is beginning his second year on the Metro Orlando Board of Directors for the American Heart Association, and this fiscal year, Dan will assume the role of board chairman. He also serves on the Executive Leadership Team for the Orlando Heart Walk. One of Dan’s priorities is to motivate his employees and help his community be the healthiest it can be. Dan has been with Enterprise Holdings, the parent company for Enterprise, Alamo and National rental cars, for 20 years. He has been in his current role for the past four years.
