Help the American Heart Association get America walking by supporting the 2013 Mason Dixon Heart Walk on Sunday, September 22 at Greencastle-Antrim Elementary School in Greencastle. Registration will begin at 12:45pm and the walk will begin at 1:30pm.

 

As the signature fundraising event for the American Heart Association, the Mason Dixon Heart Walk is a 1.3 mile and a 4 mile exciting local edition of this national event.  The Heart Walk focuses attention on exercise as an important part of a heart-healthy lifestyle and provides participants with the opportunity to have fun while supporting lifesaving heart disase and stroke research and education.  You and your business, organization or family can support the Heart Walk through sponsorship and/or by forming company teams made up of employees and their families and friends. 

 

This year more than 1 million walkers will participate in some 350 events nationwide, raising funds to save lives from this country’s No. 1 and No. 4 killers – heart disease and stroke.
