• Basic life support care
• Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions
• Management of cardiac arrest until return of spontaneous circulation, termination of resuscitation, or transfer of care

Course Format
eLearning (online lessons blended with hands-on skills session)
Course requires 6 hours to complete Part 1. Additional time required (20-60 minutes) for skills practice and skills testing (Parts 2 and 3).

Certification
American Heart Association ACLS Provider Course Completion Card valid for two years, after completing Parts 1,2 and 3.
How it works:
Students complete three parts:
Part 1 – Use a course key to access and complete computer-based lessons.
Part 2 – Locate training center to complete skills practice using a Voice Assisted Manikin or with a certified AHA ACLS Instructor. Students must present Part 1 Certificate of Completion to complete Part 2.
Part 3 – Complete a skills test on a Voice Assisted Manikin or with an AHA ACLS Instructor. The skills practice and skills testing session is sold separately.
CME/CE
Course offers up to 12 hours CME/CE/CEH credit upon successful completion of Part 1 cognitive portion.
