Heart Walk Finish LineLife is why! Everyone has a reason to live a healthier, longer life. The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association's premier event in the community. It promotes physical activity and heart-healthy living in a fun, family environment. It is a time of celebration for those who have made lifestyle changes and encourages many more to take the pledge to live healthier lifestyles--while raising the monies needed to fund life-saving research and education, advocate for health and SAVE lives! What are you waiting for? Participate and share your why or possibly discover your why!

The Southern New England Heart Walk brings together more than 7,000 walkers in downtown Providence, RI and in Dartmouth, MA for a 2-mile and 3.5-mile walk. Corporations, family and friends form teams to raise awareness and funds for the fight against heart disease and stroke.

The 2016 Southern New England Heart Walk Chairman is Timothy Babineau, MD, President & CEO of Lifespan.

The Southern New England Heart Walk raises money to fund research, advocate for health and save lives. American Heart Association investments have helped to bring “heart milestones” such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), microsurgery, heart valve replacement, coronary bypass surgery, the pacemaker and drug treatments for high blood pressure and congestive heart failure and many others.
