The Southern New England Heart Walk will take place for the first time ever at Station Park in Providence, RI!
The American Heart Association's signature fundraising event, featuring a 2 mile or 3.5 mile walk route will include free health screenings, cardiovascular advice from experts, giveaways, a kids' zone, and healthy snacks.

Dozens of heart disease and stroke survivors of all ages attend the Heart Walk each year, wearing "Survivor Caps" or "Little Heart Hero" capes. This year, the red heart and white stroke Survivor Caps will be sponsored by Care New England Cardiovascular Care.

Dennis Keefe, President & CEO of Care New England will serve as the 2015 Heart Walk Chairman.

More than 3,000 participants raised over $425,000 for the fight against heart disease and stroke last year. The American Heart Association uses the funds raised through the Heart Walk to finance cutting-edge scientific research, conduct public and professional educational programs and advocate for public health. In Massachusetts and Rhode Island alone, $32.5 million in scientific research is currently funded by the American Heart Association.
