• 6 new research studies at the BloodCenter of Wisconsin, Milwaukee at a cost of $1,059,844
• 5 new research studies at Marquette University, Milwaukee at a cost of $330,772
• 29 new research studies at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee at a cost of $3,633,156
• 7 new research studies at University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee at a cost of $857,544
• 90 new research studies at University of Wisconsin, Madison at a cost of $8,901

Nationwide, we invest over $130 million in 2012 ($3.4 billion since 1949) in heart and stroke research that has led to recent breakthroughs such as clot-busting drugs and drug-eluting stents.
