| Sept. 15-16 | Latino Fest | Help run our booth at Latino Fest! Bi-lingual volunteers are especially needed. All volunteers will be trained on basic heart health information and will get to interact with the 20,000+ guests of the Latino Festival. Free entrance to the fest is included. | February | American Heart Month | February is our busiest time of year and we need all hands on deck to ensure that our messages are heard across Central Iowa. Social media and marketing skills would be a big bonus for this committee. You’d help us ask businesses, private homes and other community landmarks to “Go Red” in honor of American Heart Month.
