Chicago QUESTS Initiative

Quality Enhancement for Speedy Thrombolysis for Stroke (QUESTS) Initiative
Chicago area learning collaborative to improve door-to-needle (DTN) times for acute ischemic stroke patients.

The American Heart Association (AHA) Midwest Affiliate received a one-year grant in 2013 for Chicago Primary Stroke Centers to collaboratively decrease door-to-needle times for acute ischemic stroke patients.

Due to overwhelming success, the AHA was funded in 2016 to continue and expand the initiative to include additional hospitals in the Chicago metropolitan area.

This multi-year funded initiative was made possible by a generous grant from Genentech.
