Partnership with Johns Hopkins Medicine and the American Heart and Stroke Association’s Power to End Stroke campaign.

The FREE jazz, food tasting, and stroke awareness Health Fair will offer FREE blood pressure health screenings and weight, nutrition and patient counseling.  There will also be a healthy cooking demonstration. Find out about your risk for stroke and receive free educational information, stroke presentations for patients and caregivers and give-a-ways. Participants will enjoy jazz music and heart healthy food. 

Music provided by International Recording Artist Rashida. Special guest chefs include Chefs Marc Anthony Bynum, Cynthia Anderson and Chef Huda. There will be a cooking competition between student chefs from Stratford University. Each participant will receive a Power To End Stroke Healthy Soul Food Cookbook.
