The Charlottesville Heart Ball is one of the American Heart Association’s annual signature events. This is a celebration of the funds that are raised for life-saving cardiovascular research and community education programs. The black tie event will include a cocktail reception, silent auction, live auction, dinner and dancing.
The Heart Ball is the premier event in Charlottesville, Virginia. This year is set to see significant growth as we continue to promote stroke and heart awareness within the ball. To support this growth, it is crucial to secure sponsors and auction donors to continue to fund our mission to reduce disability and death from cardiovascular disease and stroke.
The 2011 Charlottesville Heart Ball -- "To the Health of Our Community " -- will honor local citizens who have made significant lifestyle changes and have shown a commitment to support the mission of the American Heart Association, which is “Building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.” The monies raised at the Heart Ball will help fund cardiovascular research and professional and community education programs in Central Virginia, which will improve techniques for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
