Hong Chartrand, a University of Arizona doctorate student, has been awarded the Go Red? Multicultural Scholarship presented by the American Heart Association and Macy?s Multicultural Fund. This year, 16 students in health-related studies across the country will each receive this $2,500 scholarship.

Multicultural scholarships target diversity gap
Each year the Go Red? Multicultural Scholarship Fund provides 16 tuition-focused scholarships of $2,500 for minority women pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in healthcare fields. The deadline to apply for 2015 scholarships is Dec. 31, 2014.
Montana Men Go Red For Women
In a fun twist on a signature cause, more than 80 men gathered recently in Billings, MT, to celebrate ?Men Go Red For Women.? This inaugural breakfast event at St. Vincent Hospital raised nearly $5,000 for the cause in addition to St. Vincent Healthcare?s sponsorship.
