  • 47. 47th Annual Elkis-Love Golf Tournament In 1968, this event began as a simple golf outing known as the Heart Tournament. During the last 44 years it became the longest-running American Heart Association event in New Jersey. The tournament has grown in size and spirit over the years and is now known as the Annual Elkis-Love Memorial Golf Tournament in honor and memory of two volunteers, Nancy Elkis and Jack Love, who realized early on the devastating impact cardiovascular diseases and stroke can have on families and loved ones. Each participant helps raise money to fund lifesaving research, valuable education and advocacy efforts of the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association.
