Philadelphia is turning red and so should your wardrobe!

Philly Goes Red Logo - horizontalMake a healthy fashion statement and show your support for the fight against cardiovascular disease by wearing red on Friday, February 4.  Consider asking your co-workers to wear red too!

Over the past several years, the color red have become recognized symbols of women's empowerment to improve their heart health.  Go Red For Women® is the American Heart Association's national call to increase awareness of heart disease and stroke, and to inspire women to take carge of their heart health.

Too many women die each year because they are unaware that heart disease is their No. 1 killer.  Mothers, sister, friends and co-workers are dying at the rate of approximately one per minute from this oftentimes silent and mostly preventable disease.

This year, Go Red For Women asks you to tell 5 women you care about that you want them to live, and that Go Red For Women has the tools to help save their lives.

Make it your mission this National Wear Red Day to fight heart disease in women.  Visit GoRedForWomen.org/WearRedDay and make a difference.
