?I am a jump roper, good friend to others, love Jesus and love to help others. What is your experience with the AHA as a family member of a survivor?
While mom suffered sudden cardiac arrest and was in the hospital for two months I really was confused about why this had to happen to our family. It was not
until my mom got better that I understood that this happened so my mom could reach out to others.
It was very difficult for me to feed my mom and pretend like everything was ok when she would fall down. I can remember she could not remember my birthday and that was not like my mom at all!
I would never want to relive those days but I am grateful for how she is better now. What is nowpossible, thanks to the AHA?
I have my mom back and it is possible that one day she will get a defibrillator smaller so people will not stare at her and she will not have to get another one every ten years if the AHA gets funding for this! RETURN TO MEET KIDS WITH HEARTRETURN TO KIDS WITH HEART HOME PAGE
