Healthy eating has never been more fun! The Las Vegas division recently held its second annual “Flavors of the Heart” culinary event, with almost 600 people attending to help raise awareness about healthy eating. The event raised more than $30,000 to continue supporting local programs. Some 25 chefs and suppliers showed their support by creating heart-healthy recipes and our committee of volunteers made sure all the dishes met our healthy eating guidelines. For the second year, we collaborated with Clean Eating Magazine to select the top five winning recipes -- based on flavor, texture, time and ease of preparation, nutrition, presentation and creativity. Each participant voted for their favorite recipe and left with a goodie bag donated by Glazier’s Food Marketplace. Are you disappointed you missed the event? That’s okay!
