Renowned for its outstanding clinical services, research programs and medical education, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC has helped establish the standards of excellence in pediatric care. From Ambulatory Care to Transplantation and Cardiac Care, talented and committed pediatric experts care for infants, children and adolescents who make more than 1,000,000 visits to Children’s and its many neighborhood locations each year.
Children’s Hospital officially opened its new 10-acre campus in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville neighborhood in May of 2009. Designed with input from physicians, nurses and families to ensure that patients receive care in a comfortable setting, the hospital is a benchmark for quality care built on five principles including: family-centered care, patient-safety and quality, technological sophistication, green campus and quiet building.

PARKING:
You may park in the North Garage which is located between 44th and 45th Streets. Be sure to look for event signage. It is a 'staff only' garage, but presenters and guests will be permitted access to it on this day.
To enter the garage, pull up to the ticket box and press the RED button. When the attendant answers, give them your name which will then be verified on a master list. For your name to be on the attendant's master list, you will have had to pre-register, otherwise you will not be permitted to enter.
Once you are in the garage, park on or near the 7th floor. You will access Children's Hospital from the 7th floor skywalk which will take you directly into the Rangos Conferencing Center. Registration will be in the lobby.
REGISTRATION:
On Fellows Research Day, a registration desk will be located in the lobby of the Rangos Conference Center and will be staffed beginning at 7:00am. Attendees must register, collect your name badge and program book and receive your poster board assignment (if applicable).
For attendees from out of town who will be doing oral or poster presentations, we shall avoid scheduling your presentations early in the day in case there are traffic or weather issues delaying your arrival.
