Age: 67
Name: Carole M
Location: Florissant, MO

Summary:

I have had to change my eating habits and am still fine-tuning them. There are always new foods to try.

After I was diagnosed with heart problems, I gained weight. The pounds just crept on little by little. Soon, I became a Type 2 diabetic.

I control it with glipizide and diet. I also needed to lose weight. I love food. I have had to change my eating habits and am still fine-tuning them. There are always new foods to try.

The best thing that I did was to have a salad one hour before suppertime. I am still satisfied when I start my meal, therefore, I cannot eat a lot. I am working on finding a way not to be hungry just before bedtime. Any hints??
