It's important to realize that you have limits. It's impossible for anyone to do caregiving alone. Taking control means getting help when you need it. Find out what types of rehabilitation and therapy services your loved one will need, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy or cardiac rehabilitation. Ask what you can do to help in the recovery process. The key to successful recovery for your loved one is to take it slow, but build a support team as soon as you can.
