Vestido Rojo is a one day event designed to create a better understanding among Hispanics/Latinas of their risk for heart disease and stroke, but most important how it may be prevented. At Vestido Rojo, women will receive complimentary health screenings and participate in workshops delivered in Spanish and English designed to help them and their families live heart healthy. You can participate in salsa aerobics to learn how dance can be a great way to get active, get healthy cooking tips through nutrition demonstrations and learn about the risk factors and warning signs of heart disease through our “Ama Tu Corazon” presentation.
