The 2015 Southern Tier Heart Walk will be held on a new date and a new location. This year, the event will be at the SUNY Broome Community College Ice Center on Sunday, April 12th, 2015 from 9am – 1pm. The Southern Tier Heart Walk is a fundraiser for the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. All walkers are asked to set a fundraising goal of $200.

Event registration as well as area physical fitness demonstrations, live music and entertainment will begin at 9 am. Check out all of our sponsors’ areas and enjoy food, heart and stroke health education, survivor celebrations, advocacy, kid’s activities and plenty of fun inside the arena!

Survivor and Opening Ceremonies begin at 10:30am with the walk directly after. The walk route is a 1.5 – 3 mile, non-competitive course around the SUNY Broome Community College campus. This walk is rain or shine, so dress appropriately.
