Transfer of Securities
Giving appreciated assets is one of the most tax-efficient ways to make charitable donations. Please contact the representative in the area that you live (listed below) or Kimberly Corey for instructions.

Gifts of Oil & Gas Properties
Each gift is carefully evaluated to determine the “highest possible good” to the organization. Whether sold on an internationally-acclaimed Web site to provide immediate good to the community at large, or held to maximize profits, these gifts can keep on giving and truly effect life-saving changes.

Professional Advisor Database
The American Heart Association often assists supporters with concepts for estate planning. Upon request, we also provide names of professional advisors in their area for supporters to seek counsel and document preparation.

If you are an attorney or other professional advisor, and you are interested in becoming a part of this database referral system, please forward to us updated data about you and your firm (address, phone numbers, bios, email addresses, fax numbers, etc.).

Donor Recognition
It is the desire of the American Heart Association to personally thank those who support the AHA with planned gifts. Please advise us if you are a donor, or if you have a client remembering the AHA in any revocable or irrevocable gift plan. We treasure such supporters and in addition to personally thanking our donors, we wish to honor donors with membership in the Paul Dudley White Society.

Members receive a distinctive pin, an attractive certificate of recognition and a gift of appreciation. Additionally, with donor permission, there is special recognition in our annual report.
