My name is MacKenzie, and I am 13 years old. I had two open heart surgeries when I was 12 years old.

I am a very outgoing person who has a ton of personality. I love to act, sing, and dance. My passions are acting, helping others, hanging out with friends and family, and I like to spend time with kids. I do things that I like because I think they are fun and it brings me joy

My experience with the American Heart Association has been great.  It has been one amazing experience so far. I am so proud to be a part of the program. It gives me a great sense of pride to be nominated to be an Ambassador. Everyone is so nice. They have answered all of my questions and given me great opportunities to help and give back.

It is possible to spread the word of heart disease to everyone. Most people don’t even know that a lot of people have heart disease. Actually a lot of people do. I can show people what can really happen. That is what is now possible because of the American Heart Association.

The possibilities are endless in life. For others it’s the same.
