Webinar participants will be updated in the foundations of Heart Failure care, anatomy and physiology; latest in heart failure research; as well as strategies for improving patient education and discharge teaching.  Webinar is 1 hour 15 minutes in length.  Originally held June 30, 2010.
 
Target Audience:  Nurses and other clinical personnel who treat heart failure patients.
  • Objective 1:
    Discuss the current state of Heart Failure care in the U.S.
     
  • Objective 2:
    Define the current scientific guidelines for Heart Failure care and the related physicological processes.
     
  • Objective 3:
    Apply knowledge gained from the discussion of discharge teaching methods into daily practice to increase patient compliance.
