The American Heart Association and the National Football league have teamed up to encourage middle school students to become more physically active. The campaign includes teacher guides that have multi-disciplinary lesson plans, student tracking books, and awards for student involvement. Working with the Seattle Seahawks, 3 middle schools in Renton have engaged more than 2700 kids each year in working toward 60 minutes of physical activity each day. A virtual version of the program is available to all schools with Seahawks personalized materials. To learn more contact Cherish Hart at 206.834.8638 or email@example.com.
