NFL Play 60 Challenge
The American Heart Association and the National Football league have teamed up to encourage middle school students to become more physically active. The campaign includes teacher guides that have multi-disciplinary lesson plans, student tracking books, and awards for student involvement. Working with the Seattle Seahawks, 3 middle schools in Renton have engaged more than 2700 kids each year in working toward 60 minutes of physical activity each day.
